Max Pacioretty

People are going to begin to see the wrong in Chara’s hit and the NHL is going to be embarrased because they came to a quick decision and thought it would blow over. But to quote a man on youtube Chara picked the wrong market (Montreal) to do this. We will not forget or forgive.

Secondly gainey would not have been so quiet as GM he would be raising hell with the league. But gauthier has sat there and said nothing. What’s the matter cat got your tongue?

Thirdly Bettman’s weasel shit of not making air calls for canadian teams is catching up to him. Air Canada has numbered his days.

Shut up Mike, Shut Up

I am going to preface this by saying I love Mike Richards and his tough hockey, sometimes.  I thought he was an intricate part to Canada’s glorious success in winning gold in Vancouver.

In an article (link on the bottom of the page) it states that Flyers captain Mike Richards was taking shots at PK Subban. Now knowing I am the biggest  Subbanator fan I am bias. He is a great talent and i recognize that as he grows and becomes more prominent in the league people will take their shots at him. I won’t get upset over every comment but this one is special. Mike Richard’s comments are just dumb, misinformed and forgetful.

Lets start with forgetful; last year in the playoffs (Mike Richards might have forgot) the Montreal Canadiens called up 20 year old PK Subban. After playing a couple of games where he did not see too much ice time, he watched one of the best defensemen, Andrei Markov, in the NHL go down with a serious knee injury. How did he react? He stepped into the void beautifully averaging north of 20 minutes per game on the ice. He also he had 4 points in the 5 playoff games against the Flyers, and 2 points in the two regular season games against the Flyers. He ended the playoffs with 1 goal and 7 assists in 11 games, not too bad.

Now misinformed, when PK played for Pat Quinn on the world junoir team, with his best friend John Tavares, and lead them as an assitant captain to the gold the most commonly used attribute by Pierre Mcguire was a great locker room presence. His teammates have always said the same thing. He is a guy who isn’t afraid to step up for a teammate (as shown by Tuesday night). PK has a reputation for being humble, polite and kind to anyone and everyone. However, he is in the NHL and if he is mean to you Mike be a man he was ready to drop the gloves, don’t come out after the game saying PK is ‘cocky’.

Now dumb, if you can remember as far back as Tuesday night you may remember that Mike “tough guy” Richards started this fued with PK Subban by attacking Andrei Kostityn. So to say PK hasn’t earned his stripes isn’t your right Mike. You don’t determine when he earns his spot his team does. They seem to get along fine. So you think because you go after a scorer you have stripes and the guy who protects him doesn’t? Typical Flyers Bullshit. I remember last year tough guy Daniel Carcillo attack Marion Gaborik. Now on levels of bitchdom he reached below SEAN AVERY. That is like going deeper than the bottom of the ocean. The flyers are goons have a history of it and no one respects you going after Kostityn or Carlcillo fighting Gaborik. The Flyers suck, they go after the Canadiens and try to fight them after they lost the game. Maybe if you focused your attention on scoring on Carey Price rather than trying to fight Kostityn you sould have scored. (Congrats Carey on your 3 shutout in 16 games, and Richards probably wouldn’t have scored with his weak shit.)

Back to his comments on the cockiness of PK. He has earned his stripes let me tell you. His teammates love him and his fans love him. Now I wonder if we ask Crosby, a guy who battled a lot with Subban in both the beginning of the season and in the playoffs, what he thinks of Subban. I bet he answers differently the your bitch ass Richards.

Lastly I feel Richards is upset because PK had No Fear (Hockey News cover) of fighting him. Richards man up or pick on someone else you puss, just dont come out saying slanderous things about a kid who is done nothing wrong since he has been in the league.

Darrol Powe keep your head up you dirty player.

Suck it richards

Markov, Subban and All Star Voting

Andrei Markov would be the best defensemen in the NHL if he wasn’t injured in every single game. He has the most unfortunate injuries in the history of the NHL. When you see the collisions he some how gets his knees tangled up.  I hope he gets back this year and takes his time so he doesn’t suffer another injury.

ouch

PK Subban scored his first goal of the year against the bruins, lezgoo. PK is my favorite player no doubt and has his own nike sportswear commercial. Do you know who else has these commercials? Revis, Larry Fitzgerald, Ndamukong Suh, and Desean Jackson; in other words pretty good athletes. I hope he continues to grow into the face of the organization with the grace he has shown. He will only get better with age, and yes it is possible for him to get better.

Bye O’bryne

I going to miss Ryan O’bryne a solid physical player. We lost a great defensemen because we have two useless defensemen who we can not move, Spacek and Hamrlik.

Good luck Ryan i wish you all the best.

What Am I burning on

1.

What the hell martin?

I think its time to sit Spacek and start O’bryne. To put 2 offensive defense-men on the same line is dumb. The lines should be;

Andrei Markov- Roman Hamrlik

Hal Gill- Josh Georges

Ryan O’bryne- PK Subban

Spacek is embarrassing the Canadiens and plays too soft. When him and hamrlik are on the ice at the same time its an abmination. How can we blame Carey “the Gawd” Price if people are taking shots from the slot. O’bryne covers two criteria that the habs need more of size and toughness.

2.

Carey Price, is playing out of his mind. People in Montreal have been tough on this kid, but his response, play out of his mind. Why not? Kid is a stud. I am proud he is our Goalie and though Halak did A Great Job, Carey was the right man for the job.

In the end lets hope the Habs keep rolling because i dont know about y’all but there was nothing more exciting than watching the habs kick ass in the playoffs am I right, cant wait for an encore.

Habs Haters

People like to think that habs fans are obnoxious, spoiled and crazy. I agree its not our fault we expect to win. Kanye West can say it better than i ever could “Reach for the stars so if you fall you land on a cloud” this from his song homecoming. However, more than that for habs fans its cup or bust which is what makes us the best fans in the world.  Along with NY Yankee fans no other fans compare without a championship the season is a failure. However, the two most successful franchises in sports happen to be the habs and yanks. And we are spoiled and we are obnoxious, we are the smartest and toughest fans we cheer and boo anyone and if you can’t deal with it dont come to montreal. Our players are the toughest mentally, this is personified by Carey Price, a star in the making has had every reason to want to leave but has stayed to prove he can play and boy can he play. But as a young goalie he has shown the will to be a great and thick skin which he is going to need playing the toughest position in sports the goalie in montreal. I can’t wait to watch this kid follow in the footsteps of the greats like dryden and roy. Two of the three best goalies of all time. Finally, yeah we’re crazy, we’re nuts, our passion and love of our team makes us nuts. I’m gonna end with a quote from the greatest Canadian rapper of all time drizzy drake “I’m allergic to comin in second.” We are deal with it!!!

Example of a crazy habs fan!

Crazy deal with it

PK Subban

The man brings a child like atmosphere back to professional hockey every team needs this type of player. The New York yankees have Nick Swisher to lighten the mood and pressure of playing in the brightest spot light in base ball. There is no bigger spot light in the game of hockey and possibly all sports than the spot light on the players in Montreal. PK Subban doesn’t only have the skill to keep up in Montreal but the boyish attitude which the habs have so desperately needed and so its no wonder he is the Fan favorite.

Pk just gettin his dance on!

Josh Gorges

Three years ago if you had told me Josh Gorges would be the Montreal Canadiens representative at the heritage classic, my response would have been bullshit or a famous Chad Ochocinco reference “child please”.  Three years ago he was an awkward skater and a weak puck handler who often made simple mistakes because he just looked like he wasn’t ready for the NHL.  However, today i could not be more pleased with this kids slow progression to a star. For example last year him and Hall “the big fish” Gill were the it shutdown pair in the playoffs and blocked an astounding number of shots. However, he did this throughout the season.  In one game he took a shot in the back of the head but the next game he was back in the line up. Except for PK Subban he is my favorite player on the Canadiens which is saying a lot.

Heritage Classic

You have to say that while the winter classic might be a bigger spectacle in the hearts of every true hockey fan it does not compare to the heritage classic.  The winter classic of Penguins vs. Capitals is going to be a great game don’t get me wrong; there is nothing better than Crosby vs. Ovechkin, the pride of Canada vs. the pride of Russia. Two great teams that will be competitive for many years to come but it still does not have the meaning of an outdoor game between montreal and calgary. Washington and Pittsburgh combined have less years then the Montreal Canadiens but more then that when the Canadiens take the ice they will be representing the entire eastern part of Canada, and vice versa with Calgary. In the USA a very small portion of the Country will care but in Canada the entire country will care and its for bragging rights. The fact that Bettman and the NHL think its ok that Canada plays second fidle to the US when it comes to a spectacle of this nature is propostures. Canada has more invested in the Winter Classic or the US outdoor game, a more appropriate title, because its Crosby the Canadian hero vs Ovechkin the Russian superstar. Anyway this year the Heritage Classic should be awesome as long as the Habs win.
